Okay so I'm narrowing in on a good load in my 7mm Rem Mag with RL25 and a 162 Amax. However I only have a couple boxes of Amaxes. (This is a hunting rifle and "play" ELR rifle). While digging around in the man cave, and cleaning the cobwebs off the loading bench shelves, I've located an assortment of various 7mm boolitz that include 160 Accubonds, 162 BTHP's, 168 MK's, 168 VLD's, and even part of a box of 180 MK's. Have you been successful in "shortcutting" OCW or ladder test of load development with minimal tweaking on a pet load using a different brand/slightly different weight of bullet. Inquiring minds want to know... After all, this is the Stupid markmanship forum.
