800+ Yard Ranges Between Houston and Austin?

Anyone know of any long ranges between Houston and Austin along the 290 corridor? This would be nearby La Grange, Bastrop, Giddings, Brenham, Bellville.

From what I can tell, it seems like the closest might be CCC Shooting Complex nearby College Station, although I'm suprised there isn't anything closer...

everything in texas is private land with fences, you got to know someone to get to a 1000 which is crazy considering how big texas is

I used to live in texas but recently moved to oregon and here you can shoot as far as you want in all the national forrest land and the local range here goes out to a 1000 yds, but I pay 150 a year for pretty much same type of range.. cant believe they charge that much

Similar pricing to the Range, but I've found Reveille Peak Gun Range on the NW side of Austin and a little closer in (~1 hr from ATX vs 1.75 for the Ranch). https://www.rprrange.com/

Maybe I'm being too cheap, but $500/year for range fees is just more than I'd like to have to shell out on top of an otherwise expensive habit. I guess it could be worse - I hear golf is even pricier...

Too bad the reasonably priced Austin Rifle Club can't purchase some land with enough space for LR shooting.

Been meaning to check out the CCC Shooting Complex in Navasota. 1100 yards there I hear. Monthly PRS type club matches as well.
