I remember when that much weed would have gotten you locked up and lost for 30 years. Hell, I remember a black guy in Texas who got 50 years for a couple joints. I bet the driver is safely back in Mexico by now.

That is like two days worth of weed for Portland. Stopping the weed truck in a democrat state is more like stopping a bread truck or some other staple they need for daily life. Socialism requires stupid people be kept high as fuck for it to work.

Why stop the delivery man? He is simply giving them something they are demanding.

It's a fucking plant. Don't try to sell it to my kids and I won't care how much you have in a trailer.

If your kids are buying it seems a failure on your part, than on the part of the weed man

Also it’s just weed, most successful people have tried or do smoke it, it’s really not that big of a deal, seems the only people who’s lives it destroyed were pretty dumb to start with and we’re doomed at conception

I don't use it and I don't know of anyone who's life marijuana has destroyed, unless used as a "gateway drug". I don't understand that term, because any drug is a gateway drug, if followed by another. I truly believe marijuana was vilified by the cotton lobby, because hemp was going to take a large part of the cotton industry's profits, hence the Marihuana Tax Act of 1937. Logically, there is no reason for its prohibition of consumption, especially, when compared to the ill effects of excessive alcohol consumption.

I heard it was the nascent nylon industry that killed hemp. Don’t know. Wasn’t there.

It was actually vilified by Dupont (wanted to sell their newly developed nylon rope to the Navy) and William R. Hearst who had huge timber holdings and wanted to sell pine pulp for news print. Hemp will out produce pine per acre/year by a huge margin and it dosent deplete the soil. Cotton may well have figured in though hemp will make cloth, its of a rougher texture than fine cotton goods. good for jeans, not wo good for undies. Regardless it was all about the money.

so he got a citation and kept the weed. wow
CA driver with a TX truck in Oregon, transporting weed out of the state.

I know a guy that was deported. Two weeks later I asked his wife how he was doing. She said that he was in Portland and would be back in a few days. I asked why Portland and she said that is the way to get here. I let it go at that. Sure as shit he was back here in east TN a couple days later.
Been saying this for many years here in Oregon . The State or Oregon law only apply if you have a Job and a Checking account . The Mexican border stops at Salem Oregon.
    .
TN to Mexico to Oregon to TN in less than three weeks. Back to work in a day after returning.

    Something for y'all to consider.
Weed has always been touted as a beneficial thing to cancer patients and there's not many states left a cancer patient can't get a prescription for weed, to buy and use legally.
It was the whole base upon which it got legalized in the states it's...uhh..legal in.
I'm stage 4 M1, which means cancer doesn't get any higher rating than what I have.
Yea, I've smoked weed....fuck anyone that says I can't, and that includes the cops in the non med state I'm in.
They might ask for some proof that I have cancer, but once I show it they will say "sorry" and leave me be.
Weed does NOTHING to help with cancer except *maybe* relax me a bit so I can sleep....and that's a big maybe.
It was all a big sham from the very beginning, making it legal.
And this comes from a guy that did smoke it in the 60's, and the 70's...and so on.
Hell, I found a joint in the head at the riflerange at Pendleton when I was in basic....and I smoked that too :) I'm certain it was a plant by the drill instructors, but fuck em, they didn't catch me and it was (for at the time) quite good Colombian Gold.

    Just remember that.
Weed does nothing for cancer patients.
It's becoming legal was popular, granted, but I would heavily wager it was a move to subserviate the populous.
I have no proof, only what my experience has given me.

As a cop I booked lots of guys for domestic abuse, car accidents, drunk driving and more. Alcohol abuse fills county jail more than 3 to 1 over pot.

I don’t drink. Have never tried pot. They are both stupid. But it will never be legalized because the feds would loose their black budget money.

I think transportation costs make weed prohibitive for the Fed. I believe they are into Coke, Fentanyl, and Herion.
