Looking for ammo recommendations for a Kel Tec P 11. I know there are many out there. For .45 ACP I checked out about eight or nine rounds. Figured I'd cut that down some this time around.

In my small carry 9's ( Glock 43, Kahr P9 ) I have had good luck with Hornady Critical Duty 135 grain non +P. Also Hornady Critical Defense 115gr. non +P. If you are on a tight budget, Natchez shooters supply has PMC Starfire on sale for $8 a box

What bkglock said. I run the 135 Hornady CD +p in all of my pistols, regardless of barrel length (G34 w/ Lonewolf Alphawolf threaded, G19X, and G26). IMO, you get the best of available ballistics tech with the CD 135 +p. If you'd like something that penetrates a little less, the Atomic 124 bonded +p is outstanding.

Shot placement is the only difference between self defense stops.... 38/9/45/40 - it all comes down to shot placement.

What rounds fire 100% in your pistol?
Do you like the impulse of 115 - 150 grain the best? what gives you the push/ snap you like?

The Winchester T series work well... more difficult to find the LEO labeled boxes....

I'm using the 147gr. Winchester Defend in a Walther PPS M2. Hermosabeach though has it right, reliable, accurate, and the type of recoil impulse you prefer.
