Good news for hunters, at least for the time being. Surprisingly, it appears that the most overturned court in the nation (according to an attorney friend) has decided not to usurp state power and outlaw wolf hunts in MT and ID. I just wish they would start the hunts in WA state, before the wolves wipe out our diminished elk and deer herds. I'll try to locate the article in the Seattle PI and post a link.

Yeah right.... You mean the libs are going to pass something for the benefit of us hunters in WA state...especially along the lines of wolves... THey'd rather have wolves packs than elk herds cause the wolves are so pretty....

i better hurry and get up to ID, my cousin in the AF has a wolf hunt lined up, i just got him a firestorm, since they just made it legal to use electronic calls.

That's great news. I just wonder if they will actually let hunters harvest enough to make a difference. I have a buddy up in Montana that says he can't believe how low the numbers of Mulies and Elk are now compared to 15 years ago.
