Got a great deal on a used IMUNS here on the 'hide, plus added the Surgeon adjustable butt plate, a Burris Fastfire II with GG&G mount, replaced the NF sunshade with an ARD, and re-did my Vltor bipod attachment with a knob for hand adjustment. Finished! (wife told me the other day that I could drop the coin for a PVS22 for my BD...)

Re: A Few Modifications

30calsniper did a fantastic job on the paint. Other side of the gun looks even crazier with the Badger ACI and USO level, but it's the gun I've been wanting to build for a couple of years and couldn't be any happier with how it came out. Only had it out twice so far and seems capable of nearly .25MOA at 100. Going to try it at 600 this weekend to see how it does. All I need now is the drink holder...

Re: A Few Modifications

Bipod works great and is stable as a rock with no play at all in the spigot. Only limitation is that it can't pan very well. I also have an Atlas and a Harris with podclaws if I'm going to be using it on uneven terrain.

SAS_Sniper, the rail is a Badger IMUNS, but I'm pretty sure they are export limited. You might check with Triadtactical.

Re: A Few Modifications

It's not light (23lbs). Shot it yesterday at 500 yards in a light drizzle with 10-25mph gusts on a 5" wide strip of steel and put 13 of 20 on the plate with only 7.25MOA of vertical adjustment (calculated drop was spot on using 3043fps). The rest went just L/R due to my error in reading gusts. Definitely not the best choice for a hunting rig, but think it will work great for tactical comps. Was shooting with my uncle out at the family farm and he couldn't believe how quiet it was and how hard the rounds were smacking the steel. Put a smile on both our faces.

Re: A Few Modifications

Can I see a pic of the left side? 23 pounds is a beast...How do you like that burris mounted like that? I thought about doing that on an AR I have but went with a detachable mount for scope and eotech...
