very nice. seeing that makes me miss living out west. in pa we have ground hogs but no ground squirrels or prairie dogs.

It doesn't look like there is much left of them when that 204 hits them. Darn near cut some of them in half.

Don't pick them up with your hands, my buddy Mike got mainge from one of the little fu*kers (poke dead critters with sticks)

True story, and it was a bitch to get rid of. Couldn't figure out what it was, until I took the dogs to the vet and he wanted to know which dog had it. None, as it turns out, just me. Properly treated it went away, but now I'm <span style="font-weight: bold">real</span> careful around dead chucks/rats etc.
I still cringe every time I see a pic of someone holding one.
FWIW, I don't think shooting them is legal in Washington. If they are Belden's Ground Squirrels, they're protected. Which is stupid, since we go to Oregon and murder thousands of them. (Two weeks! Can't wait!)
