The email issued mentioned earlier this week is now fixed! You may also have received previous emails that were meant to be sent over the last few days - apologies, this was a one time issue and shouldn't happen again!

A friend of mine may offer me this rifle.

If he does, he’ll want $300 for it. I don’t know the round count, but knowing my friend, and his father in law whom he bought it from, I bet it has less than a brick through it.
Thoughts? Is it worth $300? Does anybody know how this particular model shoots? These pics are all I have right now.

Jump on it! The 452 predates the 455, and many CZ aficianados consider it superior for a few reasons. You lose the "switch barrel" capability of the 455, but the 452 action is smooth and accurate, and they're getting harder to find. You won't regret spending the $300!

That is a good deal, especially if the scope and rings are included, then it becomes a great deal. CZ452's have the barrel screwed in to the receiver, not a slip fit tenon like the 455's. Is it a better system, some think so and others dont, subject of much debate on rimfire central. Either way, that is a decent example of a 452. You can still find new 452's on GB occasionally, but they are usually north of $500 or more.

Ok, I got it. Took it to the range and did just a little shooting with it. The scope was way off. Got adjusted. Here is the first five after getting the scope set. This is 100 yards.

Not the best, but not bad for the first five. I’ll take it next weekend and see if I can close that up a little.
Ok, here’s some pics. They’re about the same as the pics in my OP, but this time it’s mine.

Now I need to find some mags for it. I have one 5 round mag. I also need some sling studs. Both have been removed.

Nice buy. Groups will get better after you shoot it a bit and get used to it and try a lot of ammo. How do you like the Millet rings?
Thanks Kissofdeath. Honestly, I haven’t had any time to look real close at anything on this rifle. It was a reeel busy weekend. I’m going to start looking for a better scope for it, maybe a 4-16. Not sure. I just need to start looking.
