A little help please fellas

Guys, I really appreciate any help /advice that I can get. I have a new Armalite M15 Competition 3Gun w/18" barrel.
Now, I really am ignorant to AR's. I have had a couple SBR CZ Bren 805's. But, I've only ever had 1 AR15 before this Armalite and I didn't keep it that long. At any rate, I hate that SPROING! noise and feel after I shoot her.
So, would one of those JP Rifles captured silent springs work? Or anything besides that?
I'm wandering what my best option is.
I had the Armalite up for sale recently but, decided to keep her because I think she's really a great rifle with the tunable muzzle break and all. Thanx for any help fellas.

You could try the Tubb flat wire spring. I don't get any noises using this.

Lube the spring and RE. Don't go crazy or it can spurt out of the vented screw or stock position holes. A lot of grease can cause problems, I like a very light coat of Slip EWL30. It could be the RE and some can be pretty rough on the inside, you can see the machining marks, but I wouldn't expect that from ArmaLite.

Take your pick. I have both. They work. No more sproing.
The "sproing" i can take or leave. I had some money. I spent it on a few baubles.
The only thing that ever matters is function.

Sir, I think you may be misinformed.
Those aren't near expensive enough to be a whiz bang acoutremande to an AR variant.

i started using the Aero enhanced carbine buffer tube for my last couple of lowers. inside is really really smooth. a light coat of wheel bearing grease on the spring, i think it's as good as it gets with the milspec buffer spring.

I too am real intrigued as to how wheel bearing grease works out. White lithium I can understand, but wheel bearing grease? That stuff's a dirt magnet and has a way of working into every nook and cranny in whatever system it's put into.

i didn't say to pack it like a wheel bearing, gee whiz. a light coating to lube the metal-on-metal sliding surface.

been doing it for over a decade. the area behind the buffer is an enclosed system. it's not like i'm taking the upper off the lower and using the lower-receiver fire-control-pocket as a shovel to dig a trench, well, maybe you guys are. I also don't disassemble my buffer and spring in the field and roll it around in the sand like you guys do. I'm not AK Operaters Union trying to do a destruction test.

I've used it on all my "sprongy thingies". I had one AR, that has over 6k rnds. thru it. I finally took the buffer spring out (field strip cleaning), and the grease was just as blue(water-proof bearing type) as when it was applied. Kinda surprised me also, but, I don't submerge my guns, or, drag them thru mud pits, either. Mac

Armaspec makes a silent captured spring for an AR that sells for about $80. Put one in my AR-10 and it does make a difference sound-wise

Same. It's a comfort sound for me that goes all the way back to BRM in Basic.

I never noticed the sproing until after people told me it existed.. and that was after shooting AR platforms for a decade already. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Like what was said, get the JP Silent Capture spring system or the Poor's version from Armaspec to get the solution in search of the problem. The only down side is if you wanna switch buffer weights, you'll likely need a complete new JP assembly to go from standard to H1, 2, or 3.

The sproing is also helpful for an indication that you’ve reached last round hold open status without having to pull the trigger and find nothing there. No sproing means it didn’t return to battery.

The recoil is completely different with a standard setup as well.
