You could say I have a slight addiction to KIDD .22's….

This is officially my 3rd Kidd rifle, my first was a KIDD classic, the original receiver which I sold last year to fund a full 20" Super grade build from Tony Kidd himself. Nedless to say the gun shoots lights out. After hauling the 20" rifle around the field hunting rabbits and squirrels this last year, I decided I needed another KIDD. I sprung for a rear tang classic with a 16" fluted bbl. I did the bedding, stock inletting, cerakoted the barrel black, and painted the B&C Anschutz stock OD green. Topped off with a Leupold VX2 3-9 EFR CDS scope. I have only had it on the 25 yard range so far, but it looks to shoot every bit as good as the 20" super grade. I love putting these things together almost as much as I enjoy shooting them.

I can appreciate your work as I also very much enjoy working on 10/22s. I have done the bedding on mine and the full assembly and even do the trigger work. I however stopped short of doing the stock inletting on mine for the Kidd rear tang. What process did you use? Just curious because I may try to do mine on my next build. I don't have a mill or even a drill press but may get a press if it would work.

I have seen this page but I think this guy has way more equipment than I do.

How well does the Super Grade shoot?

Nice looking rifles by the way!!

Mine is the Classic. I owned a Supergrade but I never shot it other than two times to test for function before I sold it. I got the itch to buy another KIDD last week. They had the Classic in-stock and ready to ship, and I decided to pull the trigger. If the Classic shoots phenomenal, I don't see why the Supergrade wouldn't shoot the same if not better.
