Giving that our beloved President (greatest president of all times according to his wife and a couple of highly ranked members of congress) has just sent another $8,000,000,000.00 in military aid to Ukraine to continue in their efforts to defeat Russia, what really should we be doing?

Brokering a peace would surely save untold amounts of our tax dollars in paid interest to the red chinese over loans to fund this and other projects, some necessary and some simply pork salad for certain congressional districts.

However, would the peace be a true peace or simply a break before another war breaks out.

Tough question. My thoughts. Since we are trillions into debt right now, I am not so sure that unlimited spending by folks who don’t / won’t be paying it back, all the while enriching themselves at our apparent expense, peace is better than embarrassing russian further.

IDK why the party of peace and inclusion wasn’t at least attempting to broker a deal before the first rounds were fired. All we’ve done is assist in the total destruction of Ukraine and help end the life’s of a lot of innocent people so the rich could get richer. It’s all bullshit. My first obvious answer would be to make an effort to broker a peace deal.
But...


Participating in this poll would be using a chain of logic that is outside the decision tree used by the asshats that put this conflict in motion in the first place.

The first retort that pops into my head is "Why should we expect anyone to broker a peace deal to a war we 100% instigated in the first place?"

In my mind, there is a very accurate parallel in how the elites manipulate things:

A: The Left weaponized our DOJ to bring charges against Pres. Trump. Their goal was to use lawfare to get at least one conviction so that they could attach the term "convicted felon" when discussing DJT. They were successful in this and now they are 100% using that term to paint him as a bad guy and enemy of the state thus giving everybody the green light to attack him publicly.
They created the means necessary for the outcome they wanted.

B: The unelected rulers of the West (US being a main player) did exactly the same thing with Russia.
Russia made it clear that they would not tolerate NATO forces on its border.
We signed agreements that we would not do that.
We did it anyway.
The West literally weaponized Ukraine as a precursor to bringing it into NATO which would of course be doing exactly what they promised would not happen.
Russia took action and now they are the Bad Guy for doing so thus giving everybody the green light to attack them.
They created the means necessary for the outcome they wanted.

Same manipulation but on a larger scale. Same tactics to make the masses accept their actions.

Not only were they not attempting a peace deal, we purposefully pushed Boris Johnson to turn down any peace deal negotiations that were offered right after Russia moved troops across the border. Antony Blinken and similar trash are on record as giving a hard NO to negotiating any peace against "the Russian aggression".

Likewise, per my post above this one, the West sure as hell wasn't going to broker for peace prior to the first rounds fired because that was their clear intentions for the 10 years leading up to it.

The US.gov and Pals (MIC/Blackrock, etc.) are already fucking Ukraine and plan on doing it for a long time. The need Russia to dissolve so that they can have free range of Ukraine. Hence the backing of Ukraine to try deplete Russia's economy and cause political strife. As long as Russia is there it will get in the way of them totally robbing Ukraine of its natural resources and turning all the women and children into prostitutes. Ukraine was already poor, now it's incredible poor except for the few selling their country out.

What I would like to see in a peace deal with Russia and for the US.gov to stop fucking with everyone. In my opinion the US.gov are the baddies.

You are right but I still don't like the arraignment.
I guess it fits in the box of The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

In this case, I still look at it as we are manipulating entire populations for personal enrichment and power on the world stage.

Honestly, Fuck Ukraine. They were never a country to start with, they are utterly fucking corrupt and they have paid Bidens hundreds of millions of not billions in graft and bribes. They could not win this war if they were fighting day care workers.
