question: my friend has a mini-14 what is the best scope mount for it ( his is the old version with out the scope ring things in the side of the receiver )
i though about the front cover rail and then he could use an aimpoint but he wants to use a scope for longer distance type shooting such as ground hogs
secondly, i wanna thank all the guys helping me with my msg90 from scope questions to reloading to the guys here at the semi auto section.
with my last 4 rounds of hornady 168 match bullets with 42.7 blc-2 i went to the range and ran into my old highschool teacher, he let me shoot his 44 mag and a 357 lever gun.
so in return i let him shoot 2 of my 4 rounds, i shot the first 2 and the rounds kissed each other. he shot the next two and they where almost kissing each other, the group was .587 long and .612 wide, right on the verge of sub-moa. i think the barrel is finnaly settling down, i think every one's help with reloading info ( even though i will be switching to varget ) and i think the simple talk in the bear pit is really paying off
thanks for the help thanks for buying gun racks and other wooden products and thanks for the silly scope questions i have asked and for the ones to come.
