I have a Kahles 624 with Aadmount covers that won't close. I ordered them from Aadmount for the Kahles 624 and the installed easily with a perfect fit but when I try to snap them closed the cap portion will not snap closed around the mount portion. I don't won't to file or grind if I don't have to.
Any ideas?

I had a set delivered a few months ago for my MK5HD that wouldn't pop open. I got an email back from him stating to lightly oil the ridge that they snap over and they will loosen up. Worked like a charm and they're typical Aadland quality caps now.

This 👍

Also, there is a code on the body of the cap (I don’t know what exactly it is for your specific scope) that will generally indicate the brand of scope (and I think the objective/ocular bell diameter) the cap/body was made for. IIRC, it is in the 4:00 or 5:00 o’clock position. You probably do have the right one though. Generally, Aadmounts are very tight, particularly right out of the box. And yes, typical Aadland quality.
