I’m about to give up on getting a TBAC Magnus K RR, can’t find one anywhere. So, leaning towards an Abel Theorem or Theorem-S, possibly the Abel Biscuit. Looking for recommendations on the Theorem vs. Theorem S. Is it worth it to wait for the TBAC?

Suppressor will go on my MPA Matrix Pro, 6.6cm. I shoot mostly recreationally but will be shooting some PRS also.

Cant beat being able to swap the can to cal specific endcaps for max suppression and back to a break for positional shooting.

They also make a vented cap that works well with gassers.

I have 4 TBACs and they are great. Abel is right up there in terms of quality.

Way ahead in terms of bang for your buck tho.

Any thoughts on direct thread to barrel with the Abel? I’ve never attached a suppressor directly to the barrel. My barrel (Bartlein) was threaded in 3/4” for some reason by the dealer I bought my gun from and Abel told me they are releasing a 3/4” direct thread adapter very soon. Right now they only have 1/2” abhd 5/8”. I’m not sure if it would fit other 3/4” muzzle devices.

I direct thread my Biscuit-S to my match rifle with zero issues. Haven’t had it back off either. They are HUB so any 3/4-24 direct thread adapter on the market will fit. Doesn’t have to be Abel branded.

Thunder Beast lists dealers that have recently received shipments on their website with links to the dealers that have websites. I found a few dealers with their cans in stock. They don't last long though. You probably already checked those though.

Get a Magnus-S... I've been extremely impressed with mine for a 7" can. It's nowhere near as quiet as my full-size Magnus, but they are both extreme precision built cans. You can't go wrong with TBAC, or the Otter Creek Labs Hydrogen series for precision cans. I also have an OG Dead Air Nomad-LT that I bought the day they first released them in Dec 2020, and it's been a VERY solid performer, as well. I have high hopes their new 3D printed versions are just as nice. 👍🏼

Any hub adapter with a 3/4-24 muzzle end will work with your ABEL can.

TBAC makes a quality 3/4 hub. You can run that and the Theorem/Biscuit no problem.

    I think you mean 1-3/4" (1.375") x 24 DT adapter...
I was telling the OP he didn’t have to wait for any Abel branded HUB size mount that accepted 3/4-24 muzzle threads. I guess I should have spelled it out better.

    Edited to clarify even more:
Get any brand HUB mount (1.375x24) that allows you to direct thread a 3/4-24 muzzle.

Thanks, so this will fit the Abel? Abel said theirs should be out very soon but just wanted to confirm this is what I’d need and would fit.

I see people saying that TBAC is the can you want for "precision". Years ago, they may have had an edge over some others, but I dont think that is the case so much anymore. I have TBAC cans and they are great. Zero complaints with them. However I also have some SilencerCo cans and a couple Lane cans that will all shoot in the .2's on my match rifles. TBAC is great, but dont buy into the notion that you have to have one if your goal is precision/match shooting.

As much as I like my TB cans, I probably won't buy anymore until they design them for better flow through. At this point, I want my cans to be able to pull double duty on small frame, large frame and other semis if need be. The difference in suppression and poi shift is negligible with modern cans.

I went with the Abel Theorem and also the .30 Cal Bidcuit. I’ll most likely get the Theorem-S also. I couldn’t decide between the Theorem and the Theorem-S but went with the Theorem. I like how the brake they are going to release can be attached to the Theorem line and the option of the vented end cap. Hopefully it’ll be a quick approval, submitted two days ago.
