Re: About to purchase a Wilson 45 ACP
As I get older, I now know why the old farts drive slow compared to when I was younger and wanted to open them up and see what they can do, same goes for any sports car, or high end firearm.
That retire earned it, probably paid off his house, kids college is done, and finally getting his/her toy that he could not afford when young. Sure, when you are young you are invincible, reflexes fast, want the world but broke. That person manned up and did the responsible thing and waited for his toy.
I have would say the same goes for high end firearms. If you can afford it, go for it, as you earned it. People that say get a TRP or a Kimber, its just not the same. Buy once cry once, and enjoy, no regrets. Sure you get diminishing returns, but at least you mind is at ease knowing you got what you wanted.

Yeah, but man, what a waste! It's like a year old Z06 Corvette that you always see driving 5 miles BELOW the speed limit by a new retiree. You know that motor is screamin to be let loose like a raped ape!
Same applies to Wilsons that just sit in cases.....Man those things are BUILT for combat!! Shoot 'em, ding 'em, scratch 'em, give 'em some love! Nothin looks better than a custom blued 1911 with lots of holster wear!! </div></div>
