Accu 2520

Will I be black listed for asking if Accu 2520 is a good sub. for Varget? It will be a 168SMK round.

2520 is a ball powder, and meters very accurately thru a powder measure. 2520 in the .308 has a reputation for good solid performance, and has been used to win major national match titles.

I like AA2520 alot. At one time it was called the "Perry powder". I mostly use it for Garand 30-06 loads out to 400 yards. Meters extremely well, the correct burn rate for either the Garand or M1A. What's not to like. The Accurate Arms reloading manual has many loads for service rifle, long range for both the 308 & 30-06.

You will notice vertical dispersions on hot days. But these day you have to use what you can get.
