Anyone use one? Adjustments seem nice, tight and easy to use. Heavier than it needs to be I believe, but should never break. Found a good deal on one yesterday giving it a shot. Hope I didnt make the wrong decision.

I have two of them. I was initially disappointed with the first one I bought and decided against buying another. The rifle flopped right and left all the time unless I really cranked on the locking nut. Then I found out they redesigned the cant mechanism. I spoke to them and they had me send it in. They replaced the whole bipod and it's significantly better. Bought another and like it as well.

Frank doesn't care for them as much as Atlas brand. I suppose if I were a really good operator class LR shooter, I could tell the difference between them. For me, the SR5 works. It's easy to manipulate (change leg length etc.) even when prone, and it's less $$ than the atlas. Yes it's heavy but I'm not trekking through the woods with it. I go to the range, set up, shoot, and go home. For me, the extra couple of ounces don't matter too much.

Glad you got a deal on it. Let us know what you think.
