i'm contemplating ordering a jp psc-12(it has both the side and upper charging handl) in .308. how does it compare accuracy wise to the gap10, obr, and others? i have a predatobr in 7.62 on order but i'm about to hit 8 months on the wait. i like the gap but i know there is a long wait. jp quoted 8 -12 weeks. i want a tack driver capable rifle. anyone with experience please chime in

Re: accuracy of jp psc-12

I have a JP LR-07 with 260 and 308 upper assemblies. Both are half minute or less as far as accuracy. Never had a malfunction with either.

I also have an OBR and an Armalite in 308. The JP rifle is more accurate than either and more reliable than the OBR which has been back to LaRue twice to fix function issues related to the chamber and extractor.

I have no experience with GAP-10 but I'm sure they're very accurate.

If you want a "tack driver" you won't be disappointed with a JP in any caliber.

Re: accuracy of jp psc-12

thanks for the info. i'm actually going to build on their site and submit tommorrow. going with the 20" barrel and ubr stock, with red heat shield under handguard. my brother and i have had the 7.62 tobr on order for 8 months now and he was told today that the rifles are still not in production.

Re: accuracy of jp psc-12

I have a JP LRP-07, I have not shot mine yet but I have a good friend who has 2 JP rifles and I have shot both of them. 1-Lrp-07 and a Psc-12 and both rifles were Accurate and Rock Solid Reliable. Bottom line for me is I will only own JP when it come to AR rifles and only buy Accuracy International for my Bolt guns.

Jp psc12

I just picked up a JP PSC12 with an 18" barrel, JP stainless steel compensator timed and threaded, blue thermal dissipater, 12:00 rifle lenght guard rail, 3.5lb trigger, Silent captured Spring, and Magpul UBR stock. I mounted a SWFA 5-20x50 scope on a Brobro mount. Can't wait to take it out to the range. I am still on que to pickup the Larue PredatOBR but it's been 10 months and I am getting tired of waiting. I heard the delay amongst other things was caused by a batch of bad barrels hence the move to in house barrel production. Can't decide whether that is good or not but I don't want a guinea pig barrel. With new machining tools etc. there's too much room for the unknown.

I have a lrp 07 and a scr 11. Both shoot ragged holes if the monkey behing em does his job. Be careful though, JP rifles have a way of multiplying. One of there 9mm carbines will be ordered in the next couple of months.

i got my psc12 in .308 in early 2013. it shoots very well. i managed to shoot a 3 round group that measured .562 and a couple weeks later i shot a 5 round group that measured at .752. i don't reload but i was chronographing some match ammo and sighting in the rifle. i have some black hills 178 amax that i want to shoot at out to 415 yrds at one of my senderos on some hogs. i haven't yet chronographed the 178 amax . its just been to hot here in tx to enjoy a day of shooting. i have some steel targets that i will be putting up at various distances and i'm also building a shooting platform that will be 10x8 and 12ft tall. i'm going to call it " SNIPERS HIDE". because i'll be snipeing me some hogs and deer this coming season. here is my rifle my bros is the duracoat one

Psc 12 shoots submoa all day

Finally took my JP Enterprises PSC12 for the first time today to the range. Had to sight in my SWFA 5-20x50 scope. At 100 yds on a bench this thing shoots sub MOA all day. This is by far the most accurate rifle I have. I used Federal 169g Gold Match HPBT ammo. The recoil was literally like an AR but unfortunately the pressure wave from the brake caused several of my neighbors to come up to me to see what the hell I was shooting. I see this rifle at home on the range or hunting. I followed the manual on how to properly break in the rifle and used the JP Bore Cleaning compound after every 10 rounds for 60 rounds.
