Accurate 224V barrel?

Anyone had luck with any of the common AR barrels? Ballistic, psa, etc?

I had a faxon last year and tried some factory Hornady 88 and kept getting crazy fliers. I’d get 3-4 shots in .75 hole and then it’d sling one 2-3” off somewhere.

I have a lower, complete minus a stock... and a 6-24 scope sitting around. I’d like to build a 224V for a 500 yard match I shoot a few times a year

I did with a factory 224 barrel 24''s it shoots pretty nice my groups are not the best but under an inch at 100 and around under 3'' at 600 yards .have seen others with shorter barrels pulling there hair out always a funny thing to watch . some better some worse its all me for the mistakes all the gun when something goes correct think I am going to start switching that around it just sounds better that or blame the wind .good luck if you use it in a match it is fun to shoot .

I noticed that Craddock Precision has 224v Criterion barrels for $345. Rather than gamble on a mid-grade barrel I’d go that route.
