Accurate AICS mag compatibility

I have a tikka CTR and bought a KRG X ray for it. I have access to 10 round AICS mags marked accurate. Want to make sure they will work before buying. These are the mags in question

I asked because I slapped a magpul AICS in there and it doesn’t work, which seems to be known

I think thats because the polymer just has to be so much thicker yet still present at the same location so its "taller" but I see what you mean now.

I think it will still work fine but I have no first hand experience with the exact combo

I just purchased a MDT XRS chassis, had issues with magpul AICS pmag, I watched a video from Masterpiece arms on making the pmag work in their chassis. A few swipes with a razor blade and its works good. I followed what they did and i think it works better than the polymer MDT mag.

From KRG’s website:

“*The Tikka inlet accepts T3, T3x, and CTR versions, however slight mods may be required on the trigger-guard for the T3 TAC A1 to function properly. Tikka rifles accept AICS pattern mags with the exception of the Magpul AICS polymer mags.”

MDT mags will work fine. Enjoy the X-Ray! Had a CTR in 6.5 with a X-Ray and really liked it.

All magazines and chassis have "quirks". It's insanely hard to make something universally compatible.

I personally find accurate mag one of the best. Super consistent.
