I've seen a few mentions here about Savage's Accustock, but not a good review of it. Has anybody had enough hands-on experience with one to voice an opinion?

What are you looking for? My opinion is that the accu-stock fills a big gap in the retail market for a entry level rifle that comes with a aluminum bedded stock that you won't have to replace.
I have the 10PC with the accu-stock and I really like it. In my opinion it's alot better than the B&C stocks I've seen that people buy. It's full lenght aluminum bedded with good rigidity all the way to the tip of the forend. No problems with barrel contact when shooting off a bipod.
Is it as good as my HS Pres? I don't know, that would require some actual field testing, but it's damn sure better than most "plastic" stocks that sub $1000 rifles come with from the factory.

I have the FCP-K 308 with the accustock. I agree with Trevor. It is a very rigid stock and the my rifle shoots quite well with it. It makes a funny metallic ping sound whenever it is fired also.

I have a stock model 16 w/ accustock and accutrigger. I'm not the caliber of shooter as some of theese guys on here but can consitently but 3 in 1/2 groups and 5 in 3/4 w/ my handloads at a 100 yards, and I'm sure that the rifle would do better if I would.
