Does any body have any experience with acog scopes calibrated for a 308 and how accurate at extended ranges are they? its going to be mounted on a dpms mk 12 or lrt SASS and used for deer hunting and recreational shooting.

Re: ACOG

Lucky you. Here in Pennsylvania you can't use anything semi-auto to hunt deer or small game. Only semi shotguns.

Re: ACOG

I have a TA01B (4x w/ 308 BDC) and while I love it, the shorter eye relief of the 4x model cause the scope to kiss my face more then once when I had it on an Armalite. I have had no issues of that sort on my LMT MWS, but I feel that I would prefer more magnification.

As for accuracy of the BDC, well it depends on how close your load and velocity compare to the preset velocity. If your goal is to hit man sized targets at various ranges, it will most likely be close enough. However if your planning to hunt at extended ranges, you may find something else may be better for you.

I am selling my TA01B w/ Larue RCO mount. However I can not list it for sale here until I get my 100 posts.
