The new tipped ones are .600 confirmed out to 1100 yards.

They are tipped not trimmed. Get with it Jay!!
The point is closed up (aka tipped), not trimmed back flat (aka Meplat uniformer).
So is the new SMK 2156 BTW.

I was unsure if tipping it after uniforming brought the BC back up or not, since you shortend the OAL on the boolit.

Jay, it will, but it just depends on how much you trim and loose as to how much you will get back. Probly easier to point then trim also.

Also if you are using the G7 scale make sure you ballistic program is calculating in G7 scale and not in G1.
G1 is the industry standard and most programs are defaulted to that.
If you dont change and run the G7 BC's you will be way off!!

That's a tough one!LOL
Use Rob's BC who wins just about every match he enters or Bryan Litz's BC who is the ballistic guru.Geez...
Uh...Now I'm really confused.
It'll be fun experiment.I'll try both and see what happens.

I consider Bryan's book to be essential for anyone who wants to shoot past 700 yards.
