Re: adding a magazine to a 700 sps

Search around and Google. You should find there is more than one option. I have the HS-Precision magazine system for my 700P (that's a HS stock so it was a direct fit). I'm happy with it. Prepare to fork a bit of cash. Magazines are not cheap.

Options...

HS Precision, Badger, Seekins, etc...bottom metal with detachable mags.

OR

McRee stock replacement -- uses AICS mags, no separate bottom metal required, and less expensive (second hand) than a separate quality aftermarket stock and bottom metal.

I went with the McRee with my 700 SPS tactical, since I wanted to change the stock as well as have a detachable mag. The cost of the McRee was less than the cost of what I was looking at for a quality aftermarket stock when I added in the additional cost of the bottom metal.

There are options...research is key.
