Have any of you found a chassis or a stock equipped with an adjustable cheek rest to be unacceptable? I've never purchased a stock that could be custom fitted nor had opportunity to try others who are so equipped. I have also never had a scoped rifle to fit comfortably regardless which firing stance was used. Maybe I'm built oddly from the shoulders up. It looks like many of the chassis options only have vertical adjustment and the traditional McMillan type stocks can be ordered more customize able.
For someone who has no access to various options what would be the safest route for a stock that will fit comfortably? It's pretty expensive to experiment while trying to have something nice put together.
Thanks
