I'm looking for a RDS magnifier that is greater than the usual 3X. I know the Vortex VMX 3T is probably a good buy but I'm still having trouble seeing and hitting a 66% IPSC target at 200 meters consistently at 3X with a regular scope. So I'm looking at the Primary Arms 6x and the Athlon 5X MG51magnifiers. I have seen reviews that the Primary Arms model has a short eye relief and is dark. I wonder if there is anyone here that has used the Athlon Midas before and if it would perform better than the PA.
The rifle I use is a Tavor SAR in 5.56 and at present I have a Vortex 1-8X Strike Eagle. This combo is just too heavy. I already have an Aimpoint H2. I'll likely move the Strike Eagle to my AR-15
