Hey guys I have a nice compass lake upper that is very accurate. I have a 4-16 atacr in the highest tier one mount and an xlr tr2 stock/buffer tube set as low as possible and I have to really smash my face down to get decent eye relief and even then it’s not vey good. I would love to make this setup work but I think the only way is a higher mount which I’m not sure exists. Open to other stock suggestions as well. Thanks

I like both of these setups just as well

I guess that statement wasn’t worded correctly to be comfortable I need high mounts and an adjustable cheek. On my AR the issue is I can’t get my eye low enough even with a high mount. I will probably end up with the moe mag pull stock, that was better but like the TR2 better. One of my rifle setups for reference IMG_0281.jpegIMG_0282.jpeg

Yeah, if you can’t get your cheek low enough, lower the cheek rest. If the cheek rest is already as low as it goes, get a taller mount.

As someone who apparently does have high cheek bones; as set up, I could probably see under the scope on your AR…

Don't you have problems with the optic vs the charging handle on that top setup?
You only need one side of the handle to charge the weapon. Looks like a large(r) latch handle and will give plenty of area to grab, while still not banging into the optic with your hand.

I just went back to the moe and got the proper height. I liked the xlr setup just couldn’t get it low enough. I didn’t have issues the the charging handle but it was close.
