I have a LMT MWS 308 and am currently looking to put some glass on it. I am looking for a mid range variable scope as I will be using it for 50-1200 yds. With the interchangeablity of barrels and calibers of the LMT I want to look into getting glass that would be able to be marked with my dope for .308 then adjusted to .243 and 338 Fed as I change the barrels. I was thinking possibly removing the Tactical Knobs and marking one color, replacing knobs and doping for the next caliber and marking it with a different color in the same manner. Everytime I changed barrels I would be able to remove the knobs and replace back to that calibers dope.

My purpose is to be able to travel with only one gun but have multiple calibers available with as little time as possible into getting on target after changing. I have thought of the BOBRO or Laures mount but then I'm carrying more than one optic and asking for a RTZ with a barrel and optic change, seems like way too much to ask for. I would of course have to function check my dope with a few rounds after changing and I'm not concerned about that but would like to explore the possiblities of such an adaptable system.

This is my first real thread besides introduction, so let me first say hello again and thank everyone for the knowledge here in advance. One note I should mention I would like a scope that can get out to 1200 on my reciever and I don't have a cant like the OBR to help me out, so I'll need quite a bit of room to adjust.

Looks interesting for sure. I couldn't tell if it would hold different windage dopes as well, looked like it was just for elevation. Also looked like it might limit any adjusting the scope to get out very far. I'll look more into them, looks like they might be hard to find these days? Thanks for the idea.

A premier with the tool-less zero and turret stickers is how I do it with a DTA.

Thankyou! Someone who has already done this, I knew it. What calibers do you use with the DTA? I plan on .243, .308 and .338. Not only is that probably one of the best scopes out, used by the best but has worked in this application. Do you have any tips? I see on the DTA website they have some kind of relationship with the Kahles so I will look into them as well but that price on something that really hasn't seen any true use is hard for me to swallow. I hadn't planned on paying quite that much to scope this LMT out but if it can get me to a one rifle system I'd be happy for a couple of years. Appreciate the info and any more you have in swapping barrels and getting back on target quickly.
