Aero M5 Upper and DD Lower Compatibility Questions

I recently picked up a DDM5 in 6.5 CM for some long range shooting and was thinking about picking up an Aero 16" 308 upper for hunting pigs as my dedicated thermal upper. Has anyone run an Aero M5 upper receiver on a DD AR-10 lower? It looks like the DD uses an Armalite style lower cut and the Aero's appear to be cut on the DPMS specs? This is my first AR-10 so it's a learning experience.

DD has the angular Armalite cut, the Aero has the curved DPMS cut, I believe you are out of luck.

Damn I hoped that wasn't the case but I appreciate the response. Guess I'll just have to build a whole other gun. Real sad day
