AG Composites Alpine stock inlet

just received my AG Apline Hunter stock. I had it inletted for my Curtis Custom
/Proof barrel barreled action and the Hawkins Hunter DBM. I test fit everything in regards to the barreled action and bottom metal and it appears good, but I did notice there are a few gaps around the bottom metal. Not sure if I should be concerned about these gaps. I do plan on getting it bedded.

Does anyone have experience with these stocks and do the gaps look normal. Let me know. Thanks.

It's nothing I'd be concerned about, bed it, the gaps go away, and all will be well.

Are you saying to have the DBM bedded? I plan to get the action bedded but that won’t take care of the DBM

Yep, whoever is going to do your bedding job tell them you'd like the DBM bedded too. Easy peasy.

You'll never know once the action is installed.

I'd bed it myself, but I do all my own bedding and tinkering. I'm not paying gunsmith prices.
