Howdy all,
I got me an AG/M42b Ljungman 2 months back and have done some plinking with it, mostly working up to ensure 46.3 gr RL 22 under a 142 SMK was indeed safe as well as to tune the gas port mod.
Today, I decided to do a little half international reduced range course. 100 meters on a 100 yard NRA small bore target which is very close to the reduced C target. I would not have won any matches by any means, but it sure was fun
I gave myself 20 minutes per leg and the timer never went off with the most time used being just over 18 minutes for the 30 rounds off hand.
Weather was 41f with 3/4 value winds at 9mph gusting to 16mph and sunny.
Anyway, here are a few pics:
off hand:
kneeling:
prone:
rifle:
ETA: I have put a sling from the M41b on it since this pic. It really helps for prone unsupported shooting.
I had a lot of fun doing this, now its time to get better at it
