Night Vision AGM rattler trajectory

Hey guys. I'm just curious if anybody has hands on experience with this thing (AGM Rattler). I've had mine for about 2 months, have it zeroed on my yote rifle and it's working great for me.
I've got a question on the "trajectory" feature. The directions to me are a tad fuzzy, and unclear. It says run "reticle 1" to use it which is a standard cross hair.... So does this feature add custom MIL dots to the cross hair or what? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Unfortunately for me, I'm only home 1 day a week so I don't have the time to really play with it and figure it out. I can't seem to find anything online except for 1 chincy video on YouTube, and the guy really doesn't explain it

It adds hash marks for different distances, like a custom BDC reticle and can only be done with the #1 reticle.
Sight it in at 100 yards.
Set a target at 200 yards or whatever distance you want, Aim center and take a few shots.
Mark where the bullet strikes are with a small hand warmer.
Secure the rifle with the main crosshair on the center 200 yd(whatever yardage) target and dial the smaller hash mark to the lower marked hot spot.
Confirm zero with a few shots and your good to go.
With a rattler or any thermal, record the X/Y numbers.

OK, that's what I thought, great! .... But figured it would be too useful of a function for a company to actually add!
