Both pre-14 and post-14 AX rifles in 6CM.
Maybe 1-2 times per 10 the round will not feed, seems the bolt doesnt catch the rear of the round. Holding the mag fully up at the rear (there is some play) will feed. Perhaps the case taper is different.
There was some oblique discussion years ago with no specific details on how to fix other than possibly sending in to AI USA for modification. I dont think that would work but havent asked them yet. I suspect they wouldnt be in the mag modification business.
Anybody confirm what the issue is and suggested fix? I'm considering adding a thin wedge to the front of the mag to force the rear back/up.
