AI Competition Trigger - worth it ?

These have been out a while now and I’m curious to hear what you guys think. Are they worth it for competition, a big upgrade ?

Standard AI triggers just work in all environments and I’m interested to hear if you give up much in terms of reliability ?

It's a personal thing. I liked the stock trigger, but the comp one is much lighter. I haven't had any issues with mine and it's reliability.

Mine has been reliable. I only switched, however, because I prefer single stage triggers and I can't get that with the stock trigger. If it weren't for that I probably would have stayed stock as I don't need that light a trigger pull and the stock is clean enough that I don't feel the competition trigger is an absolute must. YMMV

I don't have a perspective on it since I never used the stock trigger. I ordered mine from MHSA with the competition trigger and love it though.

For me I really had gotten along pretty well with my stock AI trigger, or so I thought. Opinions seem to very but after tuning my comp trigger it’s worth every penny and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another. Everything else on the rifle can be tune to the shooter why not the trigger! Makes me miss my custom built rifles even less!

100% worth it. The stock trigger has its purposes, no doubt there. It’s always been a Military/Law Enforcement Rifle and was eventually adapted for competition.

That said, with so many ppl shooting them competitively now, it’s worth the upgrade. The adjustability is great and it feels better than most triggers I’ve shot. As far as reliability, I’ve shot it in 5-6 two day PRS matches so far and she goes bang every time.
