The New LRH is offered in a mini bedding block like foundations and TS customs. You just install M5 bottom metal of your choice and go to town without bedding. Its also offered as traditional inleting which will require bedding. The mini chassis is .62 pounds or about 9.6 ounces so not overly heavy but allows you to bolt in and go with no bedding and a DBM. The Badger DBM is about 4.2 ounces but then add on weight of aluminum pillars and bedding you add a few more ounces and now you are within a few ounces. The versatility of the mini chassis will make it a better option.
On the mini chassis does it improve if you still bed the action even though you don’t have to do the pillars? I see it’s not necessary just curious if it’s better when done.
Starting to think the lrh with the mini chassis would be the easiest on my end and seems legit.
You can do both.Mini chassis would be my choice but the Hawkins flush-fit is the tits if you decide to go that route.
switching between normal M5 dbm for nrl hunter matches or certain hunts and then using a flush mag or oberndorf for other huntsIt's a good option if you have bottom metal already or want to use a certain bottom metal but if there is no need the standard mini chassis will do both jobs and is one piece. Simplicity at it's best.
