AICS stockside availability

I bought a naked AICS 2.0 LA chassis thinking I could buy new stocksides for it. I have checked with Mile High, SRT and Euro Optics and its a no go. Doesn't sound like they are getting any in soon.

The Viper skins are OK but I like the originals best.
So anyone know where I can find a set of NEW AICS stocksides? Prefer FDE or green but at this point I'll take almost any color.

I never figured out where people got theirs either. Seems like the normal sites never have them in stock.

You might want to keep a look out in the for sale section.

I suggest you contact Tac Pro in Texas. They have NEVER let me down when I required AI parts, etc ncluding a half dozen sets of skins over the years. Note that with a little ingenuity and a dremel, ANY AI skin can be made to work on a Long Action chassis.

I'm not that talented with a dremel to trust myself to hack on a set of stocksides. Besides I need a set to hack on. I'll give Tac Pro a try and thanks for the heads up on them.

I wonder if I will have this same issue trying to get replacement skins for the AX chassis I just got. I ordered mine in FDE but wouldnt mind an extra set in OD or black.

Well good news!! Thanks to the great advice posted above by 19Scout77, Tac Pro has the 2.0 LA FDE stocksides in stock. I'm waiting for a call back with a total including shipping

For anyone out there interested in stock sides for AICS, AE, AW or AX we will be making an announcement at the Shot Show. During 2012 and beyond you will be able to get replacement stock sides for all models.

This is good news . I went with a set of Vipers , but only because I couldn't find a set . The Vipers are very nice and a good fit , but after shooting with them for a few months , I think the thumbhole worked a bit better for me
