Precision Rifle Gear AICS type magazine for OEM 69gr-90gr .223 Wylde rounds for MPA BA PMR Pro Rifle II

Before I buy and regret, anyone here able to share some real life good/bads with Accurate vs MDT vs Ruger vs Magpul AICS magazines with manufacture heavies for .223? Looking to shoot the Federal, Bergers, & Black Hills stuff. I've read good things about the Ruger mags actually for feeding heavier rounds. I'm not looking to reload anything.

Since it's factory ammo it'll run fine in any of those mags being that it'll be loaded to a max of 2.260" COAL. For what it's worth, I've run thousands of rounds of .223 ammo loaded longer in MDT poly and metal mags with no issue. I also didn't know there was any factory loaded 90gr .223 ammo?

I threw 90 out there since I know some guys have done it. Maybe...just maybe ... manufacturers may start spitting some out

Mass produced factory ammo usually is loaded at 2.260" so yes, most mags will work.

But he mentioned 90s and heavies. This leads me to believe he's looking at more boutique type factory ammo manufacturers. There's a few here and there that will make ammo a little more tailored to precision long range shooters and load longer for bolt guns.

I'm not too sure but I think Trace Ammo is just one example that has a semi load and a different load for bolt guns (longer).

I'll measure the longer loaded 75gr ammo I've run in the MDT mags. It's 1.935" BTO but I can't recall COAL.

I run a Terminus Zeus. MDT poly and metal/poly mags fed 2.26 OAL rounds without issue (it felt like butter in the metal/poly mag). I did run into issues getting the metal/poly mag to feed longer OAL rounds (it's been a while but I think it was around 2.4 or so OAL). Life has gotten busy so I haven't' done much in the way of investigating so if you do decide to go this way and experience this issue I won't be much help.

I've not had any problem with the MDT polymer 223 mags.

My mdt poly works perfect in my r700, it’s not so great in my nucleus.
The accurate works perfect in both.

MDT poly mags allow out to 2.550” and I load my 75 ELDs at 2.470” and they run great. Wait until Black Friday and you can get them for a steal.

I have MDT metal/poly mags running in an MDT Oryx stock feeding a Ruger American action. 69gr FGMM and Norma GT, Sierra 77gr factory rounds, as well as some reloads with Nosler and Berger 77gr loaded at spec COAL, have all fed flawlessly
