Rifle Scopes Aimpoint Micro T-1?

Has anyone used one of these sights? My experience has just been with the Comp ML2 which I was going to sell to my friend and buy another Aimpoint Comp M2 which is NV compatible but now I'm looking at the Micro T-1. When I was going to clean the lenses I rinsed it off and sprayed them dry with compressed air from a can before I was going to clean them with the lense cleaner and I noticed there was water inside the tube. I'll call Aimpoint tomorrow and see if it's still under warranty.

water should definitely not be inside the t-1. are you sure that it is definitely inside the scope?

Sorry for the confusion, I was asking about the T-1 because that is the scope I am looking at purchasing. The water was inside of my Aimpoint Comp ML2 and yes I'm sure because the lenses are fogged up and I saw a water trail on the inside of the tube. I figured it would be safe to run it under the water because they state it is waterproof to 70ft.

I have no experience with the ML2, but I have a T-1 micro and love it. It's light and has a small footprint, but does everything I ask it to do. I have mine mounted in a Larue qd mount.

The optical window doesn't appear to be to small does it? Does the body of the scope seem to disappear when you're looking through the scope? I just heard a sales rep say that on youtube and was wondering what you thought about it?

I have a T1 with Larue 660 mount. Great combo.

The T1 in a tall Larue mount is the way to go as mentioned above, diggin' it!

Oh, I see. I have the t-1 with the low larue mount on my ps90 and i think it is really nice. The only quirk with it is the tightness of the brightness knob. It takes a while to break in, but then it is not hard to turn.

That sucks about your ML2 I've got one that I've used in a heavy rain and it didn't get any water inside. Did you by chance have the elevation/windage caps off?

Oh, one other thing I forgot to mention. If you are running the low larue mount with the t-1, you have to mount it backwards, or the release lever gets in the way of the knob.

Thanks palmik I ordered a T-1 from Larue with the high mount in a package deal.

Salmon I put some soapy water on the optic after it had already leaked in and I saw the leak on the ocular lense of the sight. I'm not sure how this could happen as I have never dropped or abused the sight before.

Just got my Micro T-1 from Larue Tactical in a mount/sight combo. Great deal and what a great mount Larue makes compared to my old A.R.M.S. mount that as on my ML2, I also like how you can adjust the tension on the lever of the Larue. Can really feel a weight difference between the 2 setups as well. I really like the Mirco and will be ordering more mounts from Larue for sure.

Larue mounts are great! I've got quite a few.

I'd like to hear about what happens with your aimpoint. Have you contacted them?

I contacted John at Aimpoint Tuesday and went over the situation with the ML2. He said it should still be covered under warranty and just to send it to them and it would be a 3-6 week turn around and would be free of charge if nothing voids the warranty. But all in all glad this situation arose before I sold it to a friend because the warranty doesn't carry on if the sight is sold.

Said they received the sight yesterday on USPS

I went to a Pat Rogers carbine course and he pulled the T-1 off his personal carbine and threw it across the concrete floor and bounced it off the block wall. It looked pretty rough with almost no black left on the sight.

He said he had been doing this for 1 1/2 years with this sight and it was still going strong.

I went out and bought 2 of them!!
