AK 74 mag loader?

have a commercial AK 74. i am wondering if any of the mag loaders available will work. magula shows a 7.62 product. have them in 308,AK,5.56,HG and they are good tools. wondering if anyone knows if it will work with a 5.45
gun/mags/ammo. or,is there another product out there for the 74?

thanks. i did find such after a better search. most of the non magulas that i saw reqquired having the rounds in stripper clips or placing them in a holder. really just as tedious as 1 at at a time. hope to find a magula and see it it fits the 74 mags. doubt it but...

I have a 7.62 Magula and it also loads 5.45.

If its a 74 in 5.45, its hard to beat stripper clips and a spoon. $3 bucks for a spoon and a dollar fiddy per stripper.

The Podavach works well for all AK calibers. You can do AR mags on it also, but not as easily as the AK mags. The Maglula works also, but not perfect for the 74 mags. Its better for the 7.62 mags.

tx for replies. by e mail maggula said they had nothing for the 74. have you tried the 7.62 version on 5.45? interested if it works "a little" or with a bit of hassle.

3rd vote for Podavach. Seriously, stop looking for or at anything else. The Podavach products are high quality and work VERY well.
