On an AR platform rifle, the bolt stays back after the last rd is fed out of the mag. Rifle is designed to be able to drop mag, reinsurt a mag, and hit mag release.
On a Yugo AK mag, the bolt is held back after the last shot like a AR.
With no mag release provision, why are Yugo mags designed like this.
Did most AK mag mfg's, make the 20rd mag or is it greatly limited. I see 100's of 30rd and 40rd, but very few 20rders.

Not many made 20's, 98% of them you see will be Hungarian designed for the AMD65 "Tanker"

All BHO attempts were discarded as they decreased the reliability, adding more parts to break. Lotta folks notch the selector switch and run the BHO mags (Yugo's, Modded China followers Etc,)

If your close to the end of the mag you should have already swapped it.
