Contact Frank, he is a good friend of mine and will treat your bro right. Former Marine but I do not let this taint my relationship with him.

Guided hunts are not cheap! 10k plus
Hunting, not much happening then but caribou up north and of course some blackies but they will be rubbed out mid summer. Aug has some openings but he leaves mid Aug, not much time unless he stays around to hunt. But doing his homework, he can fell his bou opening day. Denny, a guy I do know outfits float trips, good way to see Alaska and hunt / fish and I think runs around $2500 and up.
Full guided hunts are not cheap!
Second run happens mid July which is usually the strongest run, silvers and pinks will be swimming good then. Kenai is a joke these days but the valley runs are thin. Pay for a flight out to somewhere to fish and then fly back is what I recommend. Running last time I checked $500 per flight hour and that is both ways, 30 out and 30 back.
Hiking will be superb then, walk on glacier is always fun.
I guided for years and I do not know every spot or everything, I do know a little bit. Just ask!
