Member Link Up Alaskan Virginia Bound

Gonna be at Ft. Eustis on Saturday and staying for 3 1/2 months. Not gonna be able to do any shooting (military doesn't like guns ya know) but am looking for things to do besides the myriad of historical sites in eastern VA, DC, and PA.

Would really like to have access to a machine shop. I am gonna be going through lathe and mill withdrawal while I am there.

Well you will be by Willamsburg and Yorktown. You can check out Ft Monroe. It has a moat around it. There is DT Norfolk and Vabeach you can check out

I'd spend my time down on all of the old battlefields with a camera - take a vacation, hook up and go shoot with some people, take more vacation (Pictures, tours of battlefields etc)..

That's a bit of history there!
