After using a DIY lub mix of 99% alcohol and lanolin, do you have to tumble the cases to clean off the lanolin or can you just wipe if off?

Alcohol/lanolin lube mix...wipe off or tumble off?

Run through the ultrasonic with some Simple Green and mild heat for about 10 minutes. Gets the lube insude the necks and they're clean as can be.
I wet tumble in HOT water, dawn dish detergent, lemi-shine and stainless steel pins. removes the lube and does an outstanding job cleaning the primer pockets.
I punch primers out, wet tumble with SS pins and dawn, line with home made mix (I spray into case necked and on the body, resize, run through expander mandrel, then dry tumble to clean lube off.
I want to use the lanolin as lubing each piece like redding lube takes for damn ever. Plus I have spinal cord disease that makes it suck for my hands. However there has to be a better way to remove the pins. That's what causes me to not want to wet tumble. I'd like to know how you guys do it as I feel like this applied to this lanolin thread.
The way I do it is I use a magnet and then try to shake the pins out of the cases and then rinse the case and then looked each case with a flash light making sure there isn't residual pins in the cases.

I take my tumbler and fill it up with water. Rinse it out multiple times. I fill it about half way up and then grab the brass. Shake it in the water and the pins come out.
I also have a media separator but to me that takes too much water and it’s kind of a pain.

I see. Shaking inside then I don't have to duck with pins going down my sink.
Let the dawn and water work its magic. How long do you run the tumbler?

I avoided the wet pin tumbler method because it seemed to me that sooner or later a pin will get left in a case and end up as part of the rifling. Although you can't argue with the great results, it wasn't worth the risk. Wet tumbling with dawn and lemishine got everything clean but not shiny. I recently did some research and found the recipe for cleaning with citric acid. So now I use a HOT citric acid solution in my ultrasonic cleaner. Works fast, leaves a moderately shiny finish that won't tarnish and is cheap. Cleaned out my suppressor with it to.
Oh, to remove the alcohol and lanolin case lube I rinse with straight alcohol. Dries fast and you can reuse the alcohol a couple times.
I lay them on an old towel and spray them with brake cleaner. Roll them around some and let them dry.
i just tumble for a short while.
i would like to mention that it's easy to spray too much on and then get dents in the brass....best to spay just a little and let it sit for 15 minutes...works like a charm.

I wet tumble with hot water in a frankford arsenal. NO SS PINS.
I use the frankford arsenal cleaning pods.
30 minutes and brass is super shiny. The bottled FA cleaning solution works well too, like 3 oz.
That's all I do anytime I clean.....after shooting or cleaning off lube.
