How's the recoil on the Alexander Arms Beowulf 50 with brake or without?

Recoil without a brake is similiar to a 20 guage. Recoil is the same with the factory brake as it made no difference. King Armory makes a functional brake for the Beowulf, and a greater variety of bullets were introduced in the last year.

I've shot the .50 Beowulf with almost every ammo available for it, including some AP rounds. None of the recoil was too overwhelming and the gun is very controllable. I found little difference with or without the brake. It's a great gun to shoot!

yup i love mine ive had 2 and one of our own billet ones now...i would say its more then a 20ga recoil wise but not uncontrolable
