I had been using RL15 for 308 and 223, but then ran out and could not find anymore, and besides, the velocity swings with temperature were pushing me in another direction, so I got a bunch of VARGET for 308 and AR-Comp for 223. the AR-comp load is awesome (23.5 grains with a 75 ELD in Lapua brass), but the VARGET load just isn't quite where the RL15 load was accuracy-wise

I have 8# of RL15.5 that I was not going to break open cuz it's for sale locally. I was reluctant to use it and find a great load, only to later realize when it's gone that i will have to wait 5 more years to get some more.

But now I'm tempted....so if anybody has a load for a 175 or 178 308 with TS15.5, let me know

I use AR-Comp almost exclusively in my .308 (using 39.6 grs for 175 gr projectiles) as I like it in many ways better than Varget. You might want to give that a try???

I don't use RL 15.5 in my .308 for the likes of 175 projectiles as I can't get the velocity I'm looking for without compressing the load. The chart posted above shows max of 44.0 grs and that is compressed in my Lapua .308 cases.

It's RL TS 15.5. I don't think there's any other 15.5 powder out there, is there?
We usually all call Alliant Reloder series powder by RL the number. It's call Alliant Reloder TS 15.5, so technically it could be called RL TS 15.5? Idk
