Alright- I was reloading tonight and thinking "I need more dot drill targets" when I looked over at my dart board and thought "What if I created a target that was similar to a dart board (Possibly only 10 sections instead of 20)" Wanted to get opinions before I go and spend the next two hours drawling up a target.

My thought- instead of shooting the dot- you go thru and put a round in each section of the "dart board" in order (order would be mixed up as a dart board is). This would present a larger- but rather awkward target to hit.

Any thoughts? or is it possible there are already targets out there of this fashion?

I have a lot of fun using the Competition Dot Drill. Run the drill they way LL demonstrates it in the online training section with your friends. To me it simulates being on the line during a rifle match. Out of 22 rounds so far my best has been 17. Need to spend more time working on that. The name of the target is "Sniper's Hide Competition Dot Drill".

I do like your dart board idea.

Academy carries a shoot-n-see dartboard target, they're great for pistol. The only issue is a miss that hits another number isn't erased by pulling a dart out - you still have a hole in it. I suppose if you were actively keeping score and spotting it would work alright.
