I'm in Florida and I'm looking to take a quality introductory course into precision rifle shooting. I see Altus offers an intro to PRS course, as well as an advanced, have any of y'all taken it? Is this the best option?
the basic course is fantastic, i took the very first ALTUS CLASS. As i wanted to finally take some training outside the military. And while i didn't take away a lot of new knowledge. It really re-enforce the things that I was taught and i did come-out with a couple of new tip's and tricks that really helped out with recoil management.
I took my new to me AI AT and they help me set it up get into a good position and dope my rifle out. And explained what the value of a kestrel really is. Ryan and Spencer where really easy going and explained thing in a very easy to understand terms.
The best part of our class we had a lot of good guys with good gear that didn't break. so time wasn't spent wasted on trying to fix gear.
I suggest the basic course and about a month or so later go for the advance course to review and continue good fundamentals.

Yes, they have been reviewed a number of times on here. I had written a review on here from my class (I think 12/2016) but it doesn't look like it made it over from the old Hide site.
Ryan was a good instructor and I'd recommend the intro course. The other instructor was Bryan Morgan who appears to have moved on (http://hatcreekguntraining.com/).

I will look into ALTUS. Because, that is exactly what I would like in a class, help with setting up and doping my own equipment to be able continue training and developing after the class. Being to really get the most out of Kestrel, would help me immensely.
