Aluminum Sleeved Barrel finish

i have a Beyer aluminum sleeved barrel and i dont really like the finish on it. has anyone done a bead blast on aluminum to get to a uniform matte finish texture and color? what blasting are you using, glass bead or soda blast? any more specifics?

something like this matte finish on a mk13 build...
