Seems like I never miss left of target. Always right. I am sure that has something to do with ME. Probaby something that experienced ELM shooters know what causes is. Just curious as to suggestions on problem.

Likely trigger pull... So, what happens if you swap to your non-dominate side? Make sure you have a stable platform and practice basic fundamentals: Breathe, Relax, Aim, Gently Squeeze. What is the trigger pull weight?

So I probably should have been more specific. I should have said that when I miss, not always miss, it seems always to right. Rarely to the left.

At range today. 16/20 hits from 500-1000. All misses were left. Shooting 12X14 steel.
Ruger Precision Rifle 6.5CM Viper PST 5-25X50 Ammo Sparks Munitions 140 grain Trigger 3.5
Wind calm. Temp 55F BP 765.4 Alt. 1250
Pretty much dead on center at 500
850 miss right
Adjust 1.0 MOA hit 2" right of center
990 2 hit just low of center
1015 6 hit
Then switched around different distances Only 1 miss but that was a bonehead wrong adjustment. My guess was trigger pull related but was interested in what experience would say.

So is it Right or Left?!?!
See RED above.

Try this... shoot off of a bench and let us know if it's the same POI for you. If you were already shooting off of a bench, then perhaps practice prone - after that, never jump back on that bench again ;)

This will be enough of a disturbance to your "normal" shooting position to somewhat narrow down what is happening.

Not enough info. Someone that knows what to look for needs to watch you shoot.

The usual culprit is to much or too little trigger finger.

But you’re just gonna get 1000 guesses at this point.

How about we get a straight story first???

Do you still have good sight picture after follow through? It's not that you didn't provide enough info. People don't know how to ask questions. We should be interviewing you and going back ourselves to fundamentals.

thanks. Sight picture is usually good. I am sure this is a fundamentals thing as you point out. That is why I am looking to experience to narrow it down. I hate to keep trying to change everything all the time, just guessing. I understand doing drills very well on other endeavors. If I have ideas, I can change one thing at a time, drill it, and see if there is a difference. Would like to get some "expert" training but not sure that is in the cards for a while, and I do not want to get into too many bad habits.

Read about bicep pull into shoulder pocket. Not doing that. Thoughts?

Depends what you’re calling the “pocket.”

Thanks. I'll do some dry fire testing to make sure I am in "green".

Think of it this way. You and your buddy stand in front of each other slightly leaned forward.

Push each other with your hand placed out on their shoulder.

Each push, move your hand closer and closer until you are in the center of their sternum.

You’ll find it harder to move them the closer you get to center. Recoil is similar.

Wing Chun the shit out of that gun. It's all about the center line. Jeet Gun Do "The Way of the Intersecting Buttplate"

“Not being tense but ready.
Not thinking but not dreaming.
Not being set but flexible.
Liberation from the uneasy sense of confinement.
It is being wholly and quietly alive, aware and alert, ready for whatever may come.”
― Bruce Lee, Tao of Jeet Kune Do

Didn’t read the measurements part.

If you’re just talking about 2” off center and such at 800, I don’t think you have a problem.

Whatever you/gun are capable of shooting, be it 1moa, .3 moa, .5moa

If you’re inside that zone, then that’s just your normal margin of error.
