Am i missing a scope option?

In the process of putting together 2 RimX builds. Have all the parts ordered except glass... I feel like ive looked at every option a thousand times and still cant makeup my mind.. I would really like to keep the scopes in the 1000-1500 ish range per optic. I am a MOA guy which rules out some options I really like... I also would like a good amount of elevation as I like shooting at "long ranges". I want a locking or capped windage. Descent mag range and probably 56mm obj. 34mm tube. Etc.

I like the gen II razor but it kinda lacks in elevation... I wish the new maven rs4 had a locking windage...
Like I said alot of good options that are only MRAD which rules them out. I keep coming back to the Athlon Ares ETR. I just don't love the China part... But at 1k price its hard to pass up. Any other ideas or input? I'm driving myself insane!

Burris XTR III 5.5-30x56 in SCR-MOA, slightly above your price range, but it's solid.

That tract is one I really wish wasnt only mrad. I dont mind stretching the budget but only if I feel like I will be gaining a descent amount.

Tract does offer a 30 day guarantee - maybe 30 days to give MRAD a shot...

The problem isnt so much me. I understand both as I have buddies who are die hard mrad guys. I do prefer MOA but the bigger issue is Everything I have is MOA and my family is also really invovled in the hobby and I dont see trying to teach all of them something new at this point worth it...

Mill isn't new, it's just different.

It's really simple. Dope card on the rifle is an arbitrary number matching a turret number.

99% of people I've shown were able to use mill accurately and instantly when I have the dope card right there on the rifle for them to use.

I would take a hard look at the Delta Stryker. It should check all the boxes you want and is said to be a really stellar scope buy some pretty respected members here. I have been thinking about one myself because I really like the reticles they offer.

Have you looked at the new Strike Eagle? I just got one in mils, but I think they make MOA, as well.

I keep having friends tell me the same thing till they try it. Just think of it as a ruler in your scope. You can't measure one inch from 200 yards away. But you can measure the difference using your reticle and it doesn't matter what the units are or what they are called. I put a Athlon Cronus on mine, Ares has the same reticle, which is fantastic for a .22.
